Best Area to Live in Bay Area
In about three months, I will be moving to the San Francisco Bay Area. I have a family and like the outdoors. I will be working in San Mateo so I don't want a horrendous commute.
So where should I live?
How about Redwood City?

I would live in or near San Mateo. Traffic is heavy so commutes can be long. The east side of the peninsula is full of expensive dense suburbs. To the west it gets hillier and hillier. Depending on how you define 'outdoors' there's lots to do. Flat land is at a premium, but many bay area people hike, mountain bike, etc.
