One person calls out the category and points to someone who has to name an animal in that category within 10 seconds. No repeats allowed.

-Dinner/Decoration word scramble

Scramble up all the words and see who can figure them out first.


-Family history picture game

Have everyone bring pictures they have of family holidays and put them in a fish pile. Each person closes their eyes and pics a picture and does their best to name the people and event in the picture. Then try to place the pictures in the correct order making somewhat of a family tree. Mix in a few secret pictures that have nothing to do with the holiday. Watch the other members try to figure out who it is. It's a great game to remember past times together!!!

The board game scatergories is a great game to play with the family. We always play. You never know what kind of funny things people will come up with.

What better way to spend quality time together than to play games at Thanksgiving, kids and adults both love games. so why not choose something like Charades. its fun & everyone gets a great laugh and have a great time.

Go to a dollar store or something like it and get a bunch of random prizes for people to pick when they win. Then break out the bingo set. My family does it every year. Great fun.

A family game that can be played would be a good full court or half court basket ball game because that way everyone would be involved and its a way to have fun.
