Need a Vacation
I am in need of a vacation and it is time for me to take one.
I have narrowed the choices down to four locations for a 5 day trip I am planning.
Where should I go?

I stumbled upon this when I wanted to go to New York.
Looking at the areas you are considering, it looks like you might be interested in a sight-seeing vacation rather than a sit-on-the-beach vacation. If that’s the case, I would recommend New York City. Assuming you have never been, you will not run out of things to do in the “City that Never Sleeps!” Even if you have been before, there are probably many things you were not able to see or do. Beware – you might need a vacation when you get home! Aside from seeing historic landmarks like the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, or a Broadway show, you could take a walk through Times Square, Central Park, or Greenwich Village. (Don’t miss a walk through FAO Schwartz, next door to the Apple store, even though you won’t have any children with you). A day filled with eating falafels on the street, skating at Rockefeller Center, buying Pashmina scarves on the street corner and buying designer clothing at Century 21 Department Store at a discount, would end nicely with dinner at the quaint restaurant Serendipity (yes, the one in the movie).
Check out the NYC bus tours that are “hop-on/hop-off”. They are a good investment as they are reasonably priced and you won’t have to worry about where to go next. Do not use these at night! Wear warm clothing and comfortable shoes or boots at this time of year as you will probably do a bit of walking. We in the northeast tend to wear “peelable” clothing when the weather starts to get cold. And pay attention to your surroundings, not only for safety, but you just might spot a Hollywood star!
Just to clarify for you all, I am a single professional and will be taking a lady friend with me.
I may be biased since I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and spent the majority of my career working at Disney, but I think it would be a fab choice for a 5-day trip. I'm actually headed there this weekend!
I'd be happy to give you any "inside" travel tips, as I know the parks, resorts and property inside and out.
NYC is very expensive for 5 days and San Francisco might be chilly (it's a cool city), but depends on when you're visiting.
Lots to do in Orlando...my two cents!
Happy Travels!

Personally, I think the choice is simple: San Francisco. It gorgeous, warm pretty much all the time, and has so much to do.
New York is fun if you like big buildings, broadway shows, and expensive bars/restaurants. Massachusettes is nice if you like chilly beaches, clam chowder, and small towns with lots of charm. And I've never been to Orlando...
