Do Dogs Know They Wag Their Tails?
I am writing a short article for a publication about dogs.
And I was wondering, do dogs know they are wagging their tails?
Well they wag more when they see you....so they must have a thought that when excited they want to waggle their tails.

I think they do. That is why they wag faster when they are excited.

While I am not a trained animal expert, as a former pet owner, I am certain that dogs know they are wagging their tails. If you've seen a dog that is very happy, his/her whole body may shake with excitement, which seems like it would be hard not to notice.

Do you know when you're smiling? More often than not, the answer is yes. Dogs express happiness by wagging their tails just like we do by smiling.
