Best US History Book
I feel like my high school history teacher really let me down. I want to read all in one book the essential things a U.S. citizen should know about our country's history.
What is the one book you would advise I read?
Last year I read a book titled "Don't know much about history" by Kenneth C Davis and was quite amazed. I followed this reading with a book called "Lies my teacher told me: Everything your American history textbook got wrong." by James W Loewen You can probably find these books on amazon fairly cheap.
