Does anyone know why Twitter might be acting funny on my computer? I use Google Chrome and normally have no problems whatsoever, but recently all it will load is the top bar. Opening a separate Firefox browser just for Twitter is getting annoying.

Your help would be greatly appreciated, as I usually have two windows open at all times during the workday -- email and Twitter, both of which are necessary for my job.

Don't use both browsers together and report the problem to your Internet provider and to Twitter support center.

i think u have to remove google chrome with revo uninstaller and u install again, but before you remove you have to import ur bookmark from google chrome to mozilla so you will not lose the website that already in the bookmarks in google chrome

I was having the same problem. Yesterday I took the plunge and removed Google Chrome from my computer and reinstalled it. It is working so much better now. Twitter loads faster and Chrome hasn't crashed once since I did this.

I don't know exactly why. Perhaps you are missing a plug in like java or flash? Have you checked that? I can say that I do use Chrome at times, but it has never been my favorite browser. I prefer firefox.

However, if you want to use Chrome, have you tried any of the many Twitter services? I like hootsuite as it makes it easy to see replies and direct messages. All you have to do is go to www.hootsuite.com and register with your Twitter information. I know that settings can be changed on it, too.

There's also the program Tweetdeck, but that doesn't solve another window program as it is a program and requires a separate window from a browser.
