I am using IdeaOffer to help me figure out what to get folks for Christmas, so I'm making a couple of these...

I want to give my brother concert tickets, but the type of shows he likes to go to can't exactly be described as "mainstream."

Is there a service that sells ticket vouchers to venues slightly "off the beaten path" (like Ticket Master for the little guys) or, alternatively, a list of clubs in Baltimore, MD that anyone knows that feature indie shows most often that I can go to directly?

You could also check out livenation.com for tickets and gruvr.com is an off shoot of google maps that shows all concerts coming up in town and gives all the info needed.

An easy way to give your brother a choice in the show he goes to would be with a visa (or similiar) prepaid gift card. Buy him a greeting card and let him know he MUST go to a "show" with this gift card. He'll figure out the rest!

I would recommend that you contact a Ticket Broker, like Greg Cullen at: http://preferredseat.com and see if you can buy your brother a Gift Certificate good towards tickets for any concert he may wish to go to.

Greg is a Good Guy who should be able to help you and/or direct you to someone who can! :)
