Best Garnish for a Bloody Mary

I prefer a garlic and lime soaked shrimp, a slice of yellow onion, and a portion of kosher dill pickle, and lastly a cube of munster cheese. The cheese smoothes the whole drink and brings all the flavors together. Top it off with dripping tabasco or habanero sauce over over the garnishes.

First off, Absolut Peppar is the best vodka for Bloody Marys.... but I have found the best Garnish is Okra...

I personally like a natural bloody mary with Kettle One Vodka, organic tomato juice & garnished w/ a mint leaf. You can add couple drops of Worcestershire sauce & Tabasco if you like, but I think the Mint leaf gives it a fresh crisp clean taste.

Hands down it must have a celery stick, a lime and a green olive or two! But it is hard to find a fab Bloody Mary...must have just the right amount of spice and pizazz!

Either in a shrimp cocktail or celery stick.

If you're in a hurry then just skip the garnish altogether.

I prefer to use fresh basil leaves grown in my kitchen!
(You can also grow purple basil which tastes the same but would provide a different look!)

Glass rimmed with Old Bay spice and a toothpick with a smoked sausage and hunk of cheddar cheese. Also like a small sweet pepper.

In addition to the ones already mentioned (pickles, jumbo shrimp etc) I've seen asparagus, spicy pickled beans and cocktail onions.

I don't tend to drink alcohol, but I know that quite a few people I've known love a piece of celery sticking out of the Bloody Mary.

I think my Daddy would've like a lemon wedge (he liked sour things and would eat the lemon wedge off the side of a glass of water).

Others seem to like carrots, pickles, and olives.

Then, there might also be grapes.

I've seen where a lot of people tend to put a celery stalk, carrot, pickle, and olives to make it look fancy! Then, sometimes, on that, there's a lemon wedge and a lime wedge on the side of the glass, too!

1 1/2 oz vodka
3 oz tomato juice
1 dash lemon juice
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 - 3 drops Tabasco? sauce
1 lime wedge

I agree--salted rim, and squeeze lemon in, and stir with celery stick. :]

Nothing quite beats a jumbo cocktail shrimp and a salt and pepper coated rim!

With lemon or lime wedge and celery stalk.but and with some olives and peppers you can do a tasty cocktail.
I prefer something sweet for accompanying it after, like a cold fresh slice of Mellon.

My favorite Bloody Mary garnish is a chunk of hot pepper cheese and a glass rimmed with red pepper. Hot and beautiful.
