Family Day Trips
Now that the weather is finally getting warmer at home, I can start thinking about what day or weekend trips to take as a family (tough to want to do much in the winter).
What family-friendly, not-too-expensive activities would you recommend for three people, two adults and one 3.5 year old? Anything from general suggestions to specific things to do around MD would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Here are some generic things you can do:
- Story-time at local library
- Picnic at local park
- Mommy & Me at local rec center
- Go to the beach
But you also have places like:
1. Adventure Park (if I remember correctly) has mini golf, bumper boats & go karts---little one can sit in your lap?)
2. I'm pretty sure there's a Dave & Busters
3. Dinosaur Museums (IMAX Science Center and I can't remember the other one)
4. National Aquarium (my kid loved this one!)
5. Port Discovery Children's Museum
6. Train Museums (must be fun to ride on them?)
That's all I can think of right now! Good Luck & Have Fun!

-Rides for you and the baby (maybe they have a carousel? and other rides for little ones)
2. Teach baby about the environment and have something sweet at the Maple Sugaring Nature Walk at Ladew Topiary Gardens in Monkton for Maple Magic on March 6.
3. Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.
4. Kindermusik for the little one.
