Jobs in a Down Economy
I am guest writing a blog post on Yoomly with tips on getting a job in a down economy (a tired topic, I know). Although I know this project won't be finished in time for me to incorporate the winning piece of advice into the post, I would love to open this project up for your own suggestions.
What are your suggestions?
I wish I could speak from experience on this, but I think it helps to emphasize skills learned from non-job experiences and even pick up more such skills until one can find gainful employment. Also, don't be afraid to do unpaid work as long as the terms and conditions aren't unreasonable.
