Foreign Movies
My other project about buying foreign books got me thinking about another good way to keep my language skills up in the absense of anyone with whom to practice speaking: movies.
Unfortunately, not only does buying movies come with the same complications and expenses as finding the particular DVD without getting taken to the cleaners on exchange rates and shipping, they also tend not to work on American DVD players.
I have gotten around this in the past by playing them on my computer, but you can only do this so many times before a computer will refuse to play American DVDs anymore.
What's the best way to work around this, short of simply stealing the movies via torrent download?
Thanks for the advice.
Songs are helping. Try to search on lyrics and then translate them.
Find foreigner people on Facebook and ask them to help you too.
All this will make your French language better with the time. :)
